I have been tracking the news about the east coast power outages and I hope everyone has found some relief from the heat and other power related issues.
I hope everyone is well and that the recovery is prompt.

Hi all, Thank you to despair for reporting this for me. As you may or may not know. Central Ohio, specifically Columbus, where I live, was hit with the equivalent of a hurricane over 1-2 hour span. There was tornado's, Wind gusts up to over 100+ MPH. I can tell you I have been through a lot, and I have seen hurricanes up close, and tornado's, this was the craziest thing I have ever scene. There was nothing early afternoon, this thing blew up in 1-2 hour span and we did not even get much of a warning.
I knew we were in trouble when I saw tree's being broken in half, doors being ripped off. My second story windows were shaken so hard, I thought they were going to blow in.
I have brought the boxes back up, but due to the unstable power we still have. I am reluctant to bring the game up yet. I do not want players to have a CRASH death. I had 30 minutes of power at 4:30am, then 1 hour of power at 5pm today. Then more storms rolled threw and took down power again. I have had power since 8:30pm EDT, which is 2.5 hours now.
Please understand, Ohio was declared a disaster area, and I mean it looks like a war zone out there. Despair was my voice as I had spotty cell usage, and tried to keep in contact so people would know what was going on.
I will bring the game back up at 6:30am EDT when I get up for work. That should let me know power is stable enough to bring us back up.
Now I need to go replace all the food I lost during this outage. If you need a fix, I do have the test port up. This is separate from the live game, and if you crash die, I can always restore your object files.
Have a great evening/afternoon/morning where ever you are.

Everyone take caution overnight tonight. HUGE storms are heading back into Columbus Ohio right now. As we speak tornado sirens are going off. I just had contact with AP. He is ok, but asked that I post this to let people know what is happening. If the game does go down, everyone knows what is going on. I will keep everyone updated as I find updates and talk with AP.
