A nice change to Jedi would be to create quest rewards that can be handed out by people who are lower down on the food chain instead of just 50k or an enchanted rock. My idea is to create a new spell effect for players. Some ideas of what kind of potion I am thinking of:
A godly potion of combat +3 dam +3 hr
A legendary potion of combat +2 dam +2 hr
A mystical potion of combat +1 dam +1 hr
Similarly, potions of armor, magic, regeneration, maybe even +1 to all stats... all could be neat to have. I like the idea of just starting out with combat and seeing where it goes from there as everyone would benefit from it.
The duration of a potion should be quite a long time, these potions could be banned from gauntlets etc, but that is beyond the discussion I intend to try and start here.
The point is, these are temporary, help people run xp / level, are far better then a few coins, but will not cause any real imbalance in the game. The hard part is, we need to create new effects, which require more flags which we may or may not have space for.
If IMM+ level inspires can be canned and made to simulate this, that would almost work just as well. Imagine a different "Happy Hour" where mobs have a chance of dropping these potions on death.
I think these potions could be !rent. You win them and use them kind of deal. These type of potions could also be hidden on a bunch of mobs so people can run into them and find them during xp which would be a nice reward.

I would also like the idea that such potions would persist through deaths/death traps etc.
