Due to the wild success of the previous holiday quest, I'm reposting the related Halloween Quest entries from the in-game bulletin boards.
A Halloween assembly quest will begin October 23rd and will run through early November 1st. It will be run much like the Christmas Quest from 2005: special holiday mobs will reset automatically throughout the mud, carrying items. There will be no piloted mobs this time, however, nor any subsidiary quests -- just the automation. Mobs will regenerate automatically around the clock.
There will be 4 constructable items, and they will be created using the keywords halloween_one, halloween_two, halloween_three, and halloween_four. Use the 'make' command when you think you have the appropriate parts. There will also be 4 mixable potions: potion_one through potion_four. Unfortunately, potions can only be mixed by mages, due to our code, so if you don't have a mage of your own you'll need to find one willing to help you.
