Santa's Elves have been sighted running all around the realm, spreading Christmas cheer to all of its peoples. From west to east, north to south, hundreds of tiny elves have been sighted, wandering about the lands with Christmas presents in hand.
It's also rumored that, this year, noted celebrities such as Frosty the Snowman and Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer will make an appearance at JediMUD's Christmas festivities. Perhaps even Santa Claus himself will show up!
Now, the technical part: there are four quest objects in this year's Yuletide celebration. They can be made using the keywords yule_one, yule_two, yule_three, and yule_four.
Merry Christmas, JediMUDders! Have fun with the quest, and stay tuned to this board, or the quest board, for upcoming details as the quest goes on. -Ariz

As an aside, this is a completely new quest format. Any and all feedback is appreciated.

Apologies for the technical difficulties. Things should be working correctly now! Have fun, kiddies.

Since people keep asking:
Quest objects can only be found on quest mobs. They will also be available during scheduled quest events.
More information on the latter forthcoming.

Frosty the Snowman has been sighted several times in the past couple of days, and Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer has already put in an apperance.
Rumor has it there's more celebrities scheduled to appear, so keep your eyes open! They won't always announce themselves!

Love the quest format!
This way you can quest when you want without having to stay logged 24/7 waiting for drops!
Well... you can stay logged 24/7 to quest but at least now it's a choice rather then an obligation to have a chance at goodies! =P
Of course some people will grumble and whine, can't please everyone *shrug* ask me if I care, actually don't. Going to get carpal syndrome typing answer over and over.

First I wanted to say Thank you to Arizhel for putting this together and to Tam who I am sure helped with the administration side of it.
I like the new format, will admit I jumped the gun when it started and didn't fully understand (and I apologize again Arizhel).
To me this is a much better format just like Pioneer said you can choice to be here and chasing elves is a lot more fun then systematically clearing zones to find a bag.
As for the complaints well to me same comments as pioneer you can't please everyone, but if the majority had fun I say its a then its a winning format.
