When I ran the Redemption of Siawyn quest last January, it operated as a clue-based search-and-destroy quest. How it worked was that each team was given a clue that hinted at the location of a second clue. The second clue would describe where they could find the quest piece for that round. The mob with the quest piece would have a third clue telling the team where the next checkpoint is. The last team to the checkpoint would be eliminated. There were 3 teams involved (mighta been 4, was almost a year ago), and all of the participants save 1 thought it was wonderfully exciting. So I'm asking the general mudding public what they think of the concept. Feel free to discuss

To be perfectly honest, I found the redemption quest to be a true heartpounder. It was a little strange at first and took a little getting used to but that mad dash for each checkpoint was truly thrilling.
And while some people might point out my opinion is biased as I was one of the winners, at several points it was so close it could have just as easily been another team taking home the glory and I still would have loved the entire event.
I would definately enjoy seeing more quests like this even just along less storyline issues... though more work on that is never a bad thing. In short, keep the complex scavenger quests coming!
