If there are ever quest points, I would hope they must be redemed in a certain amount of time ( maybe 6 months) and have a different levels for the difficulty of the quest instead of amount of points. Otherwise Rice might get a lot of great prizes for scavenger and mud-knowledge quests.

Why the other thread get locky locky? And expiring quest points hurts players who take a month or two off. Besides if a scavenger quest win gets ya say 5 qps and the cheapest quest item to purchase is 250, whats the harm?

So to get this straight, you welcome suggestions but wont say whats already exists. So please work in the dark and we will let know after your done if its good or not?

I still like the quest system Infoteq came up with.
An item called "Questium" (sounds like a metal heh) is randomly placed around the mud every so often. If you collect 10, you can assemble a token which you rub and it becomes a quest point that is logged onto that char.
Then he has a set of equipment and spells that can be bought via quest points. I'm sure everyone here has heard of this system before.
I think the greatest thing about it is that it gives people extra incentive to explore.
