The following post was found on JediMUD's quest board. The Easter Bunny has apparently had it up to here with getting coal every year, and has decided to take matters into his own hands!
Message 41 : Wed Dec 1 (the Easter Bunny) :: Yuletide Mayhem!
Yo.
Listen up, dweebs.
I've got Santa, and you're not getting him back without a fight! Myself and my crack team of Helpers conducted a late-night raid on the North Pole, and managed to steal a bunch of stuff from Santa's house, as well as taking the jolly fat man captive.
We were all a little sick of his elitist attitude!
Anyway, since Santa is a wee bit tied up right now, I'll be running this year's Christmas Quest. Prepare yourselves for some down and dirty Yuletide mayhem!
Starting December 15th, I'll be dropping items that I raided from Santa's home all over the realm. Around midnight on December 22nd, I'll probably be out of items, so I'll stop hiding 'em.
We can't figure out what to do with this stuff. If you guys can piece together all of the possible items within the week, we'll set Santa free so he can deliver presents on Christmas eve.
Otherwise, you can kiss your winter holiday goodbye.
Sincerely, The Easter Bunny
End of message 41.
Will the people of the realms be able to save Santa from the evil machinations of the Easter Bunny and his cabal of Helpers? Stay tuned for more details!

Further information from the nefarious cabal of rabbits has been discovered on the JediMUD quest board:
Message 40 : Wed Dec 15 (the Easter Bunny) :: Yuletide Mayhem info!
Our intelligence has turned up some interesting information about the items that can be made with the materials that we stole from Santa's North Pole workshop.
A reliable source says that you can make these items using the following commands: xmas_one, xmas_two, and xmas_three.
As to what the items are, only the Gods know, and probably only a few of them even!
Further information on this quest can be found on the JediMUD web boards.
It's also a great place to look for people to trade your parts with!
Peace out, The Big E

I must say this is an excellent quest.
I notmally hate exploring, but this quest has made me explore and learn about 5 new areas already.

Message 42 : Thu Dec 23 (the Easter Bunny) :: Yuletide Mayhem results
Curses.
Foiled again.
So you got me this time. You had more guts in you than I thought possible for a bunch of mortals.
The three possible items were:
xmas_one: a pair of striped stockings +1dam +5mvregen, minlevel 0.
xmas_two: a pair of red and green sleeves +1dam +1str, minlevel 0
xmas_three: a pair of reindeer antlers +1dam +5hpregen, minlevel 0
Of six possible stockings, all six were made. Of three possible sleeves, two were made. Of twelve possible antlers, eleven were made.
For those of you who are curious, the final "handful of sparkling rhinestones" was dropped on the floor in the room north of the Pit Fiend, in the Abyss.
Us rabbits are awful good at hiding stuff.
Kudos to you, mortlings. Santa is free to run his yearly route. The reindeer, however.. well, let's just say venison is on the menu at the North Pole this year.
*cackle*
