Hrm. All in all, it's not a bad idea. I myself definitely am not in favor of anything that lowers the levels of available spells across the board, however. There's many spells that are already too low in level. This is something that we're trying to take care of throughout the class review process, and this would basically undermine that effort. We can't very well make the skills even higher level to compensate for that, as that just screws the majority of people. The game should -not- be built to cater to the multi-remort character as the norm. Personally, I'd rather see a penalty for changing classes. It's entirely -too- easy to make a warrior/paladin/antipaladin for the stupidly low remorts to perfect, then switch to cleric or mage or something. (and before you go on and on and on about how hard it is to get those stats, just ponder: how hard is it, really, to level a character to 5 over and over? ) Perhaps the remort that you change classes, you get no stats/regen/perfect remort bonuses. Or maybe we'll screw with stats next! Muahahaha!

Or maybe we'll screw with stats next! Muahahaha! ;) I really think attribute rolls should be the same across the board, regardless of class, then just put into their ability slots based on your class choice. That, or revise strength to remove "enhanced strength," a holdout from the days of original AD&D. (Or revise all the other attributes to make them "enhanced".) Otherwise classes that can get the extra str enhancement will always have a greater edge over those that don't in terms of "min level to perfect."

I think your idea is reasonable. Are you talking about adding it as a bonus you can receive (like adding to your hp/mana/move regen) or something that is given automatically along with the remort to the same class?

ok how bout this for a quick and dirty soloution to the apal/warrior/pal remort to mage
[glow=red,2,300]if you change your class you WILL be rerolled, end of story.[/glow]
just a thought
second thought all classes could just get the same stats when they are cerated, 2x 16s, 2x 15s 2x 14s 2x 12s, 3 discretionary points, just like a remort, kill except str, ala dnd 3rd. and allow players to self assign stats.
If I want a mage with a 16 str dex, and lower int wis, I would like to have the option.
