So recently, and randomly, AP asked for some ideas for improving classes. I can't imagine why AP would invite messing around with current class implementations which would involve a nightmare of work. As a point of example, look at the current mess surrounding the eventual nerfing of the sohei class. Mass remort evil jedis are a bit OP now with their brain implosion magic damage numbers. I think this is proof that class revision is not simple and really shouldn't be undertaken on a whim.
I think adding a few items to the skills list of some of the underserved skill classes, like T and W, for example would be cool.
Implement focus for warriors, which is the ability to re-target on a mob within mass aggro melee. If I'm fighting Helga, say, let me main focus on a townguard who might steal my kill, instead of using secondary (bash, kick) skills focus townguard until he's dead. focus might increase your ac vs. the other mob, maybe by 20 or 30.
Thieves, especially high remort thieves should get a guaranteed bs lag reduction to 2 rounds, and add a chance at stealing equipped items. Beef up thief gains on remort so that they can serve as fighters upon mass remort.
The biggest issue to me is to add +2/+3 dam items and perhaps review current combo +stat "remort" items (+str/+dex and +wis/+int) for modern relevancy. Many years ago, +dam/+hit numbers were greatly reduced. With the addition of mob procs and general area difficulty, it might be time to accept that +2 dam items should be widespread, and not just the exception. DOOM stuff could be modified up to +3 dam, etc.
