It is my suggestion that until someday the level cap is raised well past 30 that we look to limit the use of the combined use of both minimum and max level restrictions on one object. My reference for this argument is to browse through the objects you can obtain at the Owlery zone written by Protoclown where the majority of EQ loads have only 4 or so levels of use due to the combination of min and max level restrictions used in conjunction. As long as our level cap is 30 it seems like a good policy to restrict objects from having only a min level restriction or a max level restriction, never both.
Is there a way to modify the online object editor to restrict the abuse of min and max level?

The thought behind maxlev zones was to prevent access by uber-players. Back when the mud hosted hundreds of players, the lowbie was often left out of the eq mix, never able to complete with high lev groups. Valhalla and Owlery were two such zones.
With the demise of text-based muds, JediMUD attendance plummeted, and the limited access issue was made obsolete.
These zones should be modified to remove the maxlev entry filter and subsequent .obj maxlev attributes.
