Due to an unforeseen requirement for my CCIE, i will be upgrading the motherboard/processor and Ram. My Cisco IOU trainer which is built for ESXi virtual machines needs more RAM. Each Cisco Virtual Router requires 2.5 - 4G of RAM. The game currently is maxed at 32G, which is no where enough. I will be upgrading the motherboard to a SupeMmicro MBD-H8DG6-F-O w/ a 12 Core CPU (6344) AMD processor.
I figured those of you who want to know what type of platform we are on, here you go. I will be doubling the RAM from 32G to 64G.
I also have a new FAN housing to install.
This should take me 3-5 hours depending on how fast the ESXi 6.0 Operating system takes to come up. I will check the health of the box, than i will bring up the Virtual machines. I could go much faster depends on how hard it is for me to remove and than install the new hardware.
I have posted this on the MOTD as well.

The upgrade failed, the motherboard would not even power up. I have brought the game backup on the old hardware. I will do something else that TJ suggested.
