Ok, was on with 2 characters and one was acting flaky from the changes (not strong enough to carry anything even thought STR is 18/40) Suggestion was to rent, log back in (seems to have worked for someone else). gave my container to my other character, rented out, hit 0. Go to reconnect, just sits at "Connected to host jedimud.com" doesn't get any further.
weird. Drop connection on my other character, try to reconnect - same thing! It looks like the mud is still runnning, I just can't get to the "What is your name" screen to login. One character seems to have rented properly, the other is safe standing in the temple and will auto-rent (I hope)
Anyone else have this?

Yes also seeing the same thing, Just logged on wehr, couldnt get back in, and then garlen LD'ed out and can get back in. Zmud, Gmud, Tintin, Cmud, Straight telnet same thing with the logon screen its fookerd, even though a Nmap scan of port 4000 show open. Its in a semi horked state, might need to kill daemon and restart or the machine itself.

This is absolutely out of my control. Doc and I have been cleaning up resources because to be honest here, we are getting SOCKET errors. I researched the errors and they came back to 2 errors. I reduced one of the checks and had Doc rebooted the box after we cleared more space. I am now watching SOCKET calls and seeing if this error happens, and if it does, when. Then I can start tracking this down. WE ARE BACK UP

No Crash, just a reboot.
Yes there is a socket problem. I am working as fast as I can to put the Jedi 6.0 socket system in. As I am doing this, as part of it, I may put in the Jedi 6.0 prompt system. There is no difference as to your prompts, but under the hood it is vastly different.
Anyways, Yes I am working to better stability of the game. This time, the socket issue was: The listening socket was closed (somehow), and the game refused to give out new descriptors.
