Hi All, Is this the same JediMUD from the early 90's? If so I was a player of the early version - back when it was on Stimpy.jhu.edu, before it got hacked. Anyone remember that? Created a character and looked around a bit, felt very lonesome though - I guess gone are the days of hundreds of people on at once, anytime of day are night.

Yes, we're the same Jedi heh. I hail from the stimpy era as well (started in the summer of 1993), and while the playerbase is much smaller, the spirit remains. My morts include Aeolus, Orpheus, and Seijin, so if you want to run some exp, just send me a tell.
Oh, and while the numbers may be smaller, the current playerbase all tend to be excellent, down-to-earth, fun, and helpful people.
Welcome back.

Most players now really started back around 90s and went through thick and thin. But basically the same old concept, hack and slash while chatting on gossip or group say.....sometimes even auction and questsay Come back and join us for some fun....see ya soon...

You know you belong to the first generation of circle mudders when:
1. You know the directions to Nellix. 2. You still race to buy the diamond bracelet at the Jeweler's after a crash. 3. You insist that telnet is easier to use than a client. 4. You use the Metro to go to Skara Brae. 5. You drink until full at fountains. 6. You know where the Arena was. 7. You played with Steppin Razor. 8. You attended a Cedar Point get together. 9. You have a degree from Penn State or Johns Hopkins Univ. 10. Your oldest kid has a B30. 11. You know the IP address for nasa,jpl.gov. 12. You were frozen by Ciara. 13. You know what a KILLER FLAG means. 14. You recognize all four of the following coder names: Bryan Jolson, Steven Lacher, Cat Stanton, and Naved Surve 15. You know the aforementioned coders' JediMUD character names. 16. You know Jeremy Elson. 17. You have duplicated some gold. 18. You remember when clerics could petrify. 19. You've written a zone. 20. You've had mudsex in the Haon Da'or cabin.

My first Stimpy runs from home were via my 1200 baud Hayes Smartmodem... @echo on Jesus. Hard to believe how far we've come since 1992.
