There has been a lot of people who have invested a lot of time and effort into improving JediMUD. I know they do this selflessly, but as a player I feel we should have a mechanism to reward them for their efforts.
1. We could have trophies for every milestones, say for each new zones or holiday quests run.
2. How about creating a hidden poll for the best quest master, best builder/contributer, best admin, best newbie helper, etc.
The trophy would be given to the player for the year with varying stats. After a year is up, the !take version of the trophy could go into the players home if they have one, or could go on display at a new mini exhibit that could be added to Arcadia.
If I visit Anton's house or display in the exhibit I could find his trophy, "a figurine of a multi-colored dragon" with the engraving "In recognition for writing Dragon City (2009?)" Some details about the effort could be added to like # rooms/items/mobs.

As one who has done quite a bit. I think the thing should be it's own reward. However I know others (e.g Kailyn, Doc) have done a LOT for the mud that people never know about. I room description or something is a nice thing. Maybe I will add something like that into the Museum redo. It would help for active admins (and actually retired admins also with the Museum warehouse addition (storage annex.) For those who do build areas, I would think the help entry (and 'areas' entry) should contain a credit for their build efforts.
