Do I hear any ghosts, ghouls, zombies and monsters roaming soon?

Perhaps! Though I'm not sure about October as I'll be on vacation for most of the month...

Ok, it's been approved. It look like I'm making it. Does anyone have suggestions or ideas? What did you like or not like about the last one? I'll probably do something different.

I'd love to see less mobs dropping more frequently, and raising the load rates a little. I think overburdening the game with another 1,000 hover boards is a bit much, as they just wind up on the ground. One supermob is always a nice touch and load on death opportunity keeps it exciting!!
We really haven't had much in the way of constructables as of late. Will there be a few items that are constructable this time around?
I'd suggest a few more options for ear/face each quest and maybe a twist on some of the in game loading items (ie - some items are simply 'wonderful', but have align/class restrictions).
Quest Points as a potential drop are always encouraging. Maybe this quest could even have a potential 'quest point' turn in for purchasing some of the items that may become available during this quest! Glad to see you running it!

...Wait, the items in the past few holiday quests weren't constructible?
And yeah, I wish there was a better solution to the hover board thing. I think having FLY be a mob flag is on our wish list for either 6.0 or 6.1.

Well, I just wanted to try something different. This year I think I will include drop on death AND constructibles. And I'm gonna do something different than that too. Any other ideas?

I was thinking of a raffle at the end of quest with those that get raffle tickets having the ability to draw from random bags of quest eq.
Raffle tickets can be part of items dropped by these mobs. Think Arizhel did something similar years ago but with colored eggs as raffle tickets during an easter quest.

Yeah, with the golden eggs. They could either be used as parts for quest items or for choosing from sets of bags.

The new flags were added just for these quests item needs. read 45 Message 45 : Tue Feb 2 (Kailyn) :: 2 new item flags: volatile and no-junk See here for documentation: jedimud.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=ZoneDiscussion&action=display&thread=489Thanks, Eniac!

I thought last Halloween's drop rate was great. Especially since there seems to be a big quest dry spell between Easter and Halloween. I think it's better to error on the side of generosity. As for theme...how about a vampire one? In memory of Corey Haim. Lost Boys!

Just for that, I'll have to do a July one next year.
