*Twiddle* *Twiddle* Just a thought that I'd be great if we could add 5-10 more levels on top of the level 30 max and give different classes the ability to cross practice from another class. For example - warrior can dodge but with higher chance of missing. Also for ever level above 30, the experience you need to get to 31 is half a remort or something significant. Like 20m for regular class and 30m for warrior and 40m for ranger/bard. This allows players to get extra stats hp/mana/moves but makes it harder to get to the next so that not every seasoned player has hit a plateau. Thoughts? Stones at me?

What is the purpose of the higher levels? To slow down remorting? Could people skip the levels and just remort instead? If they do not want to practice other class skills? I would rather have some hard in game quest. But it is important that not every class can get all skills.

Rox wants a his bard dhitting with illusion (4x per round)... I do too! Toss in WK and grapple and it'll be fun! A warrior with warrior Wk and paladin WK... spiffy. You could allow specialization at 30+, to a specific tier, with minor hp/mana/move gains and some new skills/spells. For example, a bard might become more of a warrior, bard-warrior abilities, or a bard might become more of a mage, with some new spells opening up. One of the benefits of higher levels / specialization would be to make new equipment that is specialization specific (battle mage only for instance). Yes, people can skip the levels and remort instead (this would only be fair). Any new benefits to remorting a specialized class.. not sure. So only useful if its your last remort... but then changes like "move" bonuses, make some people want to remort for the extra moves which is now not only getting from 1 to 30, but from 1 to 40 (or whatever the new max level will be.) I really like the idea of specialization, but I think class revisions need to be completed first. Now... to toss in another idea that Aneyou would hate me if it ever got approval (lots of work and re-balancing)! How about adding a few new flags to items: MALE_ONLY,FEMALE_ONLY,ANTI_MALE,ANTI_FEMALE,IT_ONLY,ANTI_IT Right now, all we have is: EVIL build, GOOD build, and the rarely used NEUTRAL build on each class. With this change, it would open up a bunch of new class builds. This adds another permutation of builds, right now the choice of evil, good or neutral mana cleric vs. evil female, evil male, evil it, good female, good male, good it, neutral female, neutral male, neautral it mana cleric. This gives builders a lot more flexibility, and breaks the standard 'evil' or 'good' sets that everyone is presently using. The disadvantage is, people are already accustomed to their ideal 'build' and may not be happy about not being able to use some of their equipment & sex-change requests will spike. (Ex: blood soaked dress.)

My goal is to just ANNIL thru sanc Don't need quad hit heheheh I like the idea of having perhaps post Perf char that could use higher level eq. The whole idea of being able to remort past level 30 is so that most of us with multi remorts don't just pull that char out to run quests which is what most of us do. Understand that class revamp is higher on the list and I'm not doubting that but think it would be great if existing chars have a way to remort and gain +5hp/mana/moves post perf similar to what you can do for regen as another idea. Anyway, been a long day at work... Cheers!

Actually, Gatt brought up a really great point.
How about ANTI-REMORT-EQ and REMORT-EQ? I really really like this idea. This means we could create equipment that is more powerful for chars that have no remorts. However, the chars with remorts will trump chars without remorts as they gain bonuses (through exceptional str, hp, mana, etc etc.) and through difficult eq to obtain.
If you took this one step further, you could add a min and max remort flag to all equipment, thus balancing a little bit between mega remorters and just remort to perf chars and new non-remort chars.
This would also introduce a new influx of equipment which is really needed imo.
I agree with Rox as well, it would be nice to have a way to boost hp/mana/moves by remorting, but there would need to be a limit of some sort - and one needs to take into account some class weaknesses, like mage having low hp, is meant to have low hp to make it more difficult to play.
My thoughts, and cheers for the ideas
